Hi, I’m Katherine

I’m a therapist, artist, writer, and community builder who cares deeply about creating spaces that support healing, creativity, and meaningful connection.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for nearly a decade, helping people navigate personal growth, emotional challenges, and life transitions. My work often focuses on empowerment, leadership, and developing healthy boundaries.

Alongside my clinical work, I’m also a visual artist. My art explores themes of vulnerability and resilience, often incorporating natural elements like moss and mixed media inspired by nature and the places I’ve traveled.

I’m also the author of The Ultimate Life Skills Guide for Teens, which I wrote to help expand access to practical mental health tools for young people.

More recently, I started Holding the Holder, a wellness space for therapists. Through small gatherings that include movement, reflection, and conversation, I aim to create opportunities for therapists to reconnect with themselves and build meaningful community with one another.

Across everything I do, I’m guided by the belief that healing deepens when creativity, community, and self-understanding come together.

Why I Created Holding the Holder

Therapists spend their days holding space for others. It can become easy to lose touch with our own needs for rest, creativity, and connection

Many clinicians work in isolation and rarely have spaces where they can simply show up as themselves.
