Whole Person Approach
My work is grounded in a whole-person, intersectional approach. I thoughtfully consider how every layer of your identity and lived experience shapes the way you move through the world. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens in context.
This includes
Your gender identity, sexuality,
Race, ethnicity, cultural background
Socioeconomic status
Neurodivergence
Chronic illness/stress
Disabilities
Your family system, relationship patterns
Immigration or generational experiences
Spirituality and beliefs
The larger systems that have impacted your story
This allows us to explore your experiences in a more nuanced and compassionate way, rather than viewing them in isolation.
My goal is to help you reach a place of healing that is sustainable long-term. This means supporting both your mind and body by integrating nutrition, lifestyle, and mental health care.
This includes
Nutrition & Mental Health: Understanding how what we eat impacts our mood and nervous system regulation.
Building habits that are realistic, supportive and aligned with your daily life.
My Therapeutic Style: Client have described me as empowering, authentic, direct, insightful, warm, and humorous.
Somatic Work
I integrate somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and body-based interventions into my work in a meaningful and intentional way. As a trauma-informed therapist, I help clients slow down, reconnect with their internal experience, and build a more attuned and trusting relationship with their body. This approach is especially effective for those navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm, where traditional talk therapy alone may not fully address what is held in the body.
My work draws from somatic therapy principles, polyvagal techniques, and mind-body techniques to support regulation, safety, and deeper emotional processing. Together, we focus on increasing awareness of physical sensations, understanding nervous system responses, and developing tools to move through distress without becoming overwhelmed. This allows for more sustainable healing, rather than short-term symptom relief.
I take an individualized and flexible approach to therapy, recognizing that each person processes, feels, and heals in their own way. I have experience supporting clients navigating attachment wounds, relational trauma, burnout, high-pressure environments, and life transitions. I tailor our work to align with how your brain and body function best.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and deeply attuned. I aim to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood, while also gently challenged toward growth. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more regulated, empowered, and connected to yourself, both internally and in your relationships.
