Mosaic of the Soul

Each shattered piece,

Had a story untold.

Moments of pain,

Both young and old.

Yet, with time, the fragments mend-

Like a mosaic, light descends.

Emotions fill me,

Moving violently fast.

How can my future be mine,

If I’m chained to my past?

In the dance of healing,

We fill a hole.

Celebrating the mosaic,

The mosaic of the soul.

Katherine Abdelkerim

Katherine’s poetry is rooted in lived experience, shaped by pain, resilience, and the quiet moments of transformation that follow. She writes to make meaning of what we carry, and to remind others they are not alone in it.
